Story of Sara Helps at Home

Sara is seven years old. She lives with her mom and dad. She has a baby brother.

One day, her mom is tired. The baby cries a lot. Sara wants to help.

She picks up her toys. She puts her books on the shelf. She cleans her room.

Then she helps her mom. She gives her a glass of water. She sings to the baby.

The baby stops crying. He looks at Sara and smiles. Her mom says, “Thank you!”

Sara helps set the table. She puts plates and cups. Her dad comes home.

They eat dinner together. Sara feels proud. She helped her family.

After dinner, Sara reads a book. Her mom hugs her and says, “You are kind.”

Sara smiles. She likes helping. She wants to help again tomorrow.
