حروف اضافه مکان نشان می‌دهند یک چیز کجا قرار دارد. in (داخل)، on (روی سطح)، at (نقطه خاص)، under (زیر)، behind (پشت)، between (بین).

  • The keys are on the table in the kitchen. — کلیدها روی میز در آشپزخانه هستند.
  • The cat is under the chair behind the door. — گربه زیر صندلی پشت در است.

in / on / at

داخل، روی سطح، نقطه خاص.

  • The milk is in the fridge. — شیر در یخچال است.
  • The book is on the table. — کتاب روی میز است.

حروف اضافه جهت

under, behind, between, next to.

  • The cat is under the chair. — گربه زیر صندلی است.
  • The bank is between the school and the park. — بانک بین مدرسه و پارک است.

مثال‌های بیشتر

  • There is a picture on the wall behind the door. — عکسی روی دیوار پشت در است.

نکته: in برای فضای بسته، on برای سطح، at برای نقطه دقیق.
